Today Apple quietly announced that they will be releasing a new refreshed version of their MacBook Air computers, with shipping availability expected within just 24 hours.
The MacBook Air has received a $100 (approx. £60) decrease in price along with a slightly faster processor. The revised version now has a 1.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 which is a marginal upgrade from the previous 1.3GHz version that was installed in the computers predecessor.
So, if you are planning on getting an upgrade or buying a MacBook Air it is probably best to hold off until the end of the week for a slightly faster, slightly cheaper version instead.
Apart from this the rest of the MacBook Air seems to have remained the same as before. Although, who can complain at an upgrade in performance when it comes with a cheaper price tag?
